Our Contract to Hire and Hire to Contract options come with the unique value of accessing resources not otherwise available or retained… a value delivered through Intrinsic's Safe Harbor ™ Program.

Intrinsic's Safe Harbor ™ Program was developed in 2006 to facilitate a more seamless flow of talent between clients, consulting firms, software houses, and other members of the Intrinsic Network. It was created to specifically address legal, competitive, and internal obstacles to getting the best people into roles both the candidate and the client desire.
As a customer, imagine how many times very good people have left your organization, either due to ‘better offers', headcount adjustments, political factors, or any one of a number of other reasons. Imagine also how many times you know of great people in other organizations who you just can't get. They may be working at competitors with non-compete restrictions, there may be legal agreements preventing direct hiring, or again, internal boundaries on compensation or permanent headcount may make it difficult to bring them on.
As a professional, imagine how many times you are restricted from moving, either on a contract or a permanent hire basis, into new roles at new companies. Whether its legal, perceived ‘gentlemen's agreements', or as simple as not enough compensation… whatever the case, there are often barriers to the free flow of talent across organizations.

Intrinsic helps to fix these problems through our Safe Harbor ™ Program. Used in combination with either Contract to Hire or Hire to Contract sourcing, Safe Harbor allows highly valued talent to find a home at Intrinsic for however much time is required to allow safe passage to a more permanent placement. Clients get the benefit of attracting desired resources while still adhering to any legal or internal restrictions. Professionals wishing to move to the client get the benefit of a safe harbor ‘stopover' where they can work for the client as if they were on permanent staff. – just doing so as an Intrinsic employee or subcontractor. We become the ‘middleman', albeit with higher compensation due to our low overhead and flexible compensation policies. And, should the original client destination change, we also become the central agent to help our people get contracted or hired by other members of the network.

Intrinsic's innovative In>Queue ™ Incubation Program is the culmination of our successful experience creating new business capacity in five different client situations during the last decade. It was developed to help Clients rapidly grow their own consulting and delivery capabilities, particularly in high demand practice areas.
In>Queue ™ works something like this…

You as the Customer identify a department, IT skill area, or other resource capability you want to organically grow in the short term. Many times, it is to reduce cost and dependence on outside help. Other times it might be to support new products, services, and geographies. Intrinsic's In>Queue™ Program manages the seeding of that growth with deeply experienced professionals, and in turn identifies, screens, hires, and trains other talent that surrounds these experts. For up to six months, we carry all of these consultants on our paper… they are Intrinsic resources provided at zero cost to our Clients for the time required to make them ‘productive' members of a team. At any point in time, some number of these resources may be hired for permanent employment, or, after the incubation period, subcontracted through Intrinsic. Should the Client decide for any reason not to hire or subcontract these now experienced professionals, no problem. Intrinsic takes them back for deployment elsewhere. Zero cost talent. Rapid training and experience. Functional, technical, and consulting skills mentoring. Zero risk of taking on permanent employees without knowledge of their fit or abilities. The perfect incubation for new and rapidly expanding capacity.
